The Plight of a Daughter Changed Course – Cerebral Atrophy Treatment with Stem Cell Therapy

A child needs her mother, no matter what her age. But to see one’s mother slowly lose the battle for life to a condition that is supposedly untreatable, is a pain that is unbearable. Unfortunately, that is exactly what this daughter faced after her mother was diagnosed with Cerebellar Atrophy. A condition in which the neurons in the brain, that control coordination and balance, deteriorate and die. The 75 year old mothers’ condition suddenly started deteriorating really fast. When all hope seemed lost, they heard of stem cell therapy.

Like any concerned child, she couldn’t wrap her head around this condition and turned to the internet to do her own research. It was her research and her uncle, who is a doctor, which convinced her that choosing stem cell therapy is the best option.

Two days later, her mother was admitted with us and underwent therapy for cerebral atrophy treatment. Not so surprisingly, she saw improvements within the span of 5 days.

She did amazingly well in all her subsequent therapies, from physiotherapy to hand therapy. She was enthusiastic all the days and giving it her all her effort to make improvements.

She couldn’t eat with her own hands. In fact, she couldn’t even break chapattis into pieces to eat. And after a few days of the stem cell therapy she could eat on her own. She even drank soup on her own after a long time! Before she couldn’t climb stairs and now she can! She could barely walk and now she walked the entire length of the corridor with the help of a walker, just 5 days after the therapy! She can now roll onto her side all by herself. Her hands used to shiver when she did anything and now the shivering has completely stopped.

At the end of the day, the concerned daughter is now hopeful that her mother will make a full recovery. In fact, she is such a believer she says she will advise everyone suffering from this to give stem cell a try!
