Vidushi is a known case of Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy, from Varanasi. Vidushi suffered from pathological jaundice immediately after birth for which she received the appropriate treatment. She also subsequently suffered typhoid & seizures.
Vidushi started displaying an overall delayed development. Her parents assumed it was normal for her to develop a little late since they had a strong family history of delayed milestones. However, upon showing no substantial development milestones till the age of 3, she was taken to a local paediatrician and was diagnosed as a case of cerebral palsy on the basis of symptoms and MRI Scans. Her father, thereafter, started giving physiotherapy sessions at home as advised by their doctor for her betterment. Even so, Vidushi could only speak and sit upright but wasn’t able to walk. “We were shocked to learn that Vidushi had such major issues. It was a little difficult for us to accept it because there is no history of Cerebral Palsy or any other neurodevelopmental disorder in our family.” her father said.
Vidushi was also shown to a doctor abroad who suggested ‘Botox’ and various other allopathic medicines. This is ideally a conventional treatment approach for spasticity in Cerebral Palsy. Her father, however, did not agree to go ahead with such treatments on Vidushi. He decided not to opt for any Ayurvedic or Homeopathic medications, either. He was vigilant enough to enhance his knowledge further and came across Cell Therapy through the internet. Vidushi was given cell therapy followed by extensive Neuro-rehabilitation in 2017.

After Cell Treatment Vidushi started exhibiting the following improvements:
improvement in sitting, supine and standing posture as compared to keeping knees in flexion in supine, now she keeps them straight. She was able to sit erect now.
Her crouching while standing decreased. Her transitions from posture have become smoother and faster. Earlier she would require assistance for sitting to standing, now she can perform it independently. Earlier she would stand only for a few seconds, now she can independently for 40 seconds.

Currently, Vidushi is undergoing 2-3 hrs physiotherapy sessions at home. She has started with schooling in a normal school. She likes studying and likes going to school.
